I was admitted to Nottingham City Hospital for an aortic valve replacement. The treatment I received from the cardiology department was fabulous. I was frightened to death before hand as I had heard people dying from anaesthetic which scared me a lot. I react badly to that bit was awful but all the staff were fantastic! Anyone paying privately is washing their money as you couldn’t get better than the NHS! I am so pleased that it is all over and done with now, but they were superb. It was also in state of the art building which was brilliant. I was lucky to have nice, humorous ward fellows who kept me great company. My care was absolute magic, from the cleaners, nurses through to consultants. Thank you!
"Excellent with a capital E!"
