"Terrible treatment and last minute cancellations."

I have been treated extremely poorly by the gynecology department. I have waited months for an appointment with the consultant and the day before I receive a text message to say that it has been cancelled. I tried to ring the number that was provided in the text message and have been trying to call for the past 4 hours. The number is either busy or rings out. This is extremely distressing as when I googled the number, it said that it was staffed between 9am and 4:30pm. I'm so upset at the lack of respect that they have shown my by cancelling my appointment last minute without giving me a new appointment and no one being available to answer my calls. I guess they forget that there are actual humans behind the reference number who have feelings. I'm dealing with infertility and don't want to prospone my treatment for any longer than is necessary. I'm so worried that I have to wait a further two months before I even see a specialist.
