Had capsular release surgery - apparently you are meant to have 3 to 5 physiotherapy sessions per week for the first 3 weeks passive stretching - but only if you work for the NHS - all I have had is one assessment and two fairly brief sessions in 3 weeks after surgery - only given 4 exercises to do - none of which are achievable as muscles too tight could have done with the passive stretching or arm feels like it is detached and shoulder blade no longer slides (again could have done with passive stretching). No sign of a shoulder class that has been mentioned by others that have had the same surgery (again they work in the NHS) Staff can't/won't answer simple questions so I have now requested to go elsewhere.
