About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I was taken to A&E at ESH recently, I was suffering with extreme abdominal pain and was seen within 30 mins staff were polite and professional and caring at all times. They kept me informed at all times, I stayed in A&E for approx 20 hours, even though the department was very busy I still felt that I was being cared for in a professional manner. I was then moved onto a ward and was treated so well staff could not do enough for me, even at such a busy time they were fantastic. When the press are running down the NHS as they are at the moment I would like to express how impressed I was with the service I received from East Surrey Hospital and its staff especially the nursing and auxiliary staff.

Thank you ESH due to your treatment I recovered quicker and freed a bed up for another patient.
