National target: to be treated within 4hrs Hospital: was not busy Department: emergency Took my child in because she had very serious swelling (will not be stating the problem) Went in for emergency was told to wait and would be checked up in an hour, instead had to wait for 2hrs, my child was in agony! Then was told they want to take an xray, they said in the next 25mins my child will be taken in. But had to wait 2hrs! Had to keep nagging receptionists until one of them finally decided to get up and find out! No one referred my child on the system for an xray! Still keeping calm, they finally took the xray. Then they had placed my child in a ward, neglected the fact my child face was swollen so bad. Decided to operate but had to wait another 2hrs until I was told that they won't operate, gave medicine and told me if fever went up come back again!!! Did not answer me why! Dissatisfied
"6hrs of waiting in emergency!"
