About: University Hospital (Coventry)

I was referred to the a and e department by the walk in centre as I had a severe migraine that would not go away . We had a long wait of of two hours but the service we received was excellent. I was seen by a lovely Doctor, who immediately put me at my ease. Very professional, caring, friendly and thorough. I was given a thorough examination to rule out anything else but reminded of things to look out for should the symptoms get worse etc. I was sent home with painkillers and I am glad to say that after three days I think my migraine is finally on its way out. The doctor also gave me some information to read about migraines and some suggestions with regards to visiting my GP about the matter. A true professional, I cannot speak highly enough of him.
