"No support or advice"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I recently had to visit the early pregnancy unit after being referred for bleeding. On my first visit I was advised that the doctor should not of referred me as I was only 5+5 weeks. I was given a scan and was advised that my pregnancy was classed as unknown location. On a further visit when I was 7 weeks I was advised I was having a miscarriage. I was given no information on what to expect or what was happening to me. This is my first pregnancy and did not know what was going to happen. I was just told to retest in a week and ring back. I've done this as the test still showed positive and felt as though the staff I was talking to felt the nature of my call was not important and told me to retest in a few days, I asked for some more info about my symptoms and was told its normal and ring if I developed pain. I feel as though I've had no support during this distressing time.
