"My right foot"

About: Lincolnshire Teaching PCT

(as the patient),

Some time ago (about 4 years) I dropped a bit of steel on my right foot(about 100kgs) it hurt but not that bad. Some time later i went to the docs i had a rash on my right foot, i told the doc about my mishap and that when i moved my right foot it still hurts and it also clicks . He told me 'Its athletes foot, get this cream and use cotton socks. let the air get to your feet as much as possible'. OK so off we go, about 18 months on i went to see a chiropractor about a back pain (not impressed) but told her about my right foot. Yes it can take upto two years for a foot to mend - OK so off we go. Some time later about 2years this rash still on my right foot and going up my leg is really itching. Down the docs we go - that's the worst athletes foot ive see, its about as bad as it gets, have some cream and some pills and get wool socks. So i told him about the click and it still aches, no athletes foot. Two weeks down the line, back to the docs, more cream, more pills and advised to ring for repeat priscrition. About another two years on I lost patience and changed doctors (this is about 4years in all). At new docs 'DOC I GOT THIS RASH ON MY RIGHT FOOT' (and so the story came out as above ). He felt that that is was not athletes foot but excema, advised me to use this new cream. One week on now my right foot is nearly the same as my left one and I'm finally going to get an xray to sort out the clicking (sorry about the spelling) AND had a well man check - 'alls well'.
