"Care at QMC and Nottingham City very good"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Neurology Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

(as the patient),

I’ve spent time at both ICU’s at Nottingham City and QMC Hospitals to treat an acute demyelinating encephalo myelopathy. The care was very very good, and my parents and husband were always kept well informed on my treatment and recovery. Kim, at the QMC ICU looked after me frequently and was amazingly caring and understanding. This was very important as I was paralyzed and scared. My family also appreciated her detailed updates of my progress. I moved to the High Dependency unit at QMC where again I was well looked after and felt safe. The nurses and doctors again were very good. I’m now home and making a good recovery. I believe this is down to the doctors, consultants and nurses at Nottingham City and QMC.
