"Excellent staff in Paediatric A and E"

On the night of Christmas Eve I brought my 2 year old daughter to A and E with acute shortness of breath. I cannot fault the nursing and medical staff who looked after my daughter. The nurse who cared for my daughter was engaging, compassionate and helpful as was the doctor who assessed and referred us to the paeds team. The pediatric registrar was quick and efficient and also approachable and inclusive. I also work in a regional emergency department and know how difficult working in the discipline currently is but feel the staff on duty were a shining example of how care should delivered and are a credit to your organisation.
