"My MRI experience."

About: University Hospital (Coventry)

Today I visited UHC NHS for an MRI scan . When I said to the nurse that My consultant had said I was to have a dye injected to highlight an ongoing problem , and why hadn't this been done , this was her response " the consultants dont know what they are talking about half the time , and have no idea of the procedures" my response was " well I hope mine does" . I was utterly astounded at her response, what sort of message doe that give out? I have to go to 4 different departments at this hospital plus the MRI dept, and fortunately I happen to know that all of my consultants have all proved to know what they are talking about. They operated on my back 6 weeks ago, and every thing has gone superbly .I cannot speak highly enough of the attention and treatment I have received in this past year. It only takes one to give out negative feelings about the NHS. I am reporting this young woman as I think she just didn't want to be bothered to carry out important instructions, she certainly needs a severe reprimand in my view.
