Dr Southern (Boston House Group Practice Wigan) is a competent, compassionate and caring GP. He takes time to listen and has always shown skill and caring when treating me or my husband.
Recently, he treated me for a chest infection and escabation of my asthma. He treated me for 45 minutes and advised me to go to A&E to be checked out.
Following a discussion between us he trusted me to go into hospital if my breathing became laboured again and gave me a letter to give staff if I went in to A&E later that day. This was the day before Xmas eve, and he took the time to treat me without me feeling I was troubling him. He was genuinely caring and skilled.
We are really lucky to have Dr Southern as our GP
