"Excellent Care at St Helens Hospital and Whiston Hospital"

Approximately 2 years ago I was referred to St Helens & Knowsley Hospitals after finding a lump on my testicle. Needless to say, I was worried. I was able to pick the time, date and venue for my appoitnemt with the urology dpartment. I chose St Helens Hospital. The staff, both nursing and medical, made me feel comfortable and were highly professional and friendly thoruout. I was put at ease easily. I was then referred for an ultrasound at Whiston Hospital, where I was also treated courteously and professionally. All too often the NHS is criticised when things go wrong and everyone forgets the countless times when it goes right. I thought I'd give an example of one of those times.
