After receiving a devastating diagnosis and an alarming prognosis, I underwent a major operation on the 5th November. During my admission to Ward 11, the staff were caring and compassionate and treated me and my family with respect and genuine concern. After undergoing surgery, me and my family were delivered a miracle, when my condition was proven to be totally benign. During my recovery in Ward 31, I cannot fault any aspect of my care. The nurses and student nurses were extremely attentive and went the extra mile to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. I'd also like to mention the housekeeping staff who were equally as considerate and always willing to assist where needed. My consultant ensured every aspect of the operation was conducted and planned with my best interests in mind. Her team was professional and kind and encouraged my recovery during my stay. This is written with sincere thanks from me and my family.
