"High level of care"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

After having a cycling accident the level of care shown to me was unbelieveble, starting with the A and E team who were under extreme pressure and very busy on the night of my accident but showed absolute care and professionalism way beyond what I expected. Same again the next day when I had surgery in the Peter Smith to have a plate fitted in my shoulder and then followed by a couple of days on the first floor recovering was given first class treatment. Special thanks to my consultant and doctors, people at the top of their game. Second visit four month,s later to have plate removed in Day Surgery and again faultless care given. Now getting back my mobility to pre accident days with Physio,s help, can there be a better hospital in the North East, I am not sure but my experience has been first class all the way. To say Thank you all is not enough but thats all I can say, James Lawson

Hi James, Thanks for taking the time to write such a nice review about the hospital. We're glad to hear your experience was so positive and we'll be sure to pass your comments along to the departments involved as staff always enjoy hearing feedback from patients. In the mean time we hope you continue to get your mobility back, and wish you all the best for the future.
