I have never left a review of anything online, but my experience at Frimley's Children's A&E was so positive it has prompted me to write. My 2 year old daughter was taken in on a Sat afternoon after a bad facial fall down brick steps on a tricycle. We were greeted by a calm receptionist with no wait who sent us onto the Children's A&E waiting room. The room is welcoming with lots of toys and TV to distract little ones. We were then seen very quickly by a nurse who assessed my daughter and this was followed by facial x-rays and a further assessment by the doctor. Throughout the entire process they kept me fully informed about what to expect which was reassuring and enabled me to manage expectations for my little one. The best bit of all is how well they dealt with my daughter - and not just from a medical perspective. They understood that she was the patient (not me), and spoke to her directly by name, answered all of her 2 year old questions, and listened intently as she described the details of her accident. She thought it was some big adventure & has left wanting a doctor's dressing up costume for Christmas.
