I had an Arthroscopy at the Northern General day surgery unit. I went in at 7.15am but did not go into surgery till 11.30am. I would have preferred to have arrived at a later time if possible but understand the need for meeting of medical staff e.g. anaesthetist. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. The unit was very clean all round. The whole experience was as good as I could have hoped for apart from the waiting about.
