My 2 year old daughter and I attended a performance by Nottingham Playhouse called "Wiggle Giggle" at the Children's Centre. We both really enjoyed seeing the show. There were no worries about her wriggling, talking, disturbing others or responding to what she was seeing because of the informal setting. She reacted to the emotions of the performers leading us to have some lovely conversations about feeling upset, playing nicely with friends and sharing and afterwards was re-enacting some of the movements and sounds with other children there. A few days later she woke up and the first thing she wanted to do was to go to "playgroup" (at the centre) to see the show again.
There are always lots of good activities at the children's centre but we would definitely like more of this please!
