Not only was I not treated with any dignity whatsoever, I was also treated so badly because I am young (in my 20's) and expected to look after myself because there were elderly people on the ward. The whole process of my recovery was prolonged so badly and the communication between the ward staff was dire. My treatment wash't dignified and the whole process was prolonged (I spent an extra night in hospital waiting for a pharmacy to open to collect antibiotics) which is a total waste of a hospital bed. I became more ill and distressed the longer I was kept in there.
