I woke up on Sunday morning at 2.30 am with severe back and chest pain and uncontrollable shakes. As a person with severe heart failure and AF (to name a few) issues, My wife called For an ambulance which arrived within 5 minutes. I was then carted off to Resus at A&E at Worcester Royale Hospital. After spending a few hours there (Waiting for a bed) I eventually ended up in the Medical Assessment Unit there. t turns out I had pneumonia and Pleurisy on top of my Heart Failure, DCM, AF, and LBBB. I was treated with massive doses of antibiotics and looked after extremely well by all of the staff on the ward on the nights of 8/9th of December. And managed to go home today at 1pm on 10th feeling a lot better. Two nurses in particular were going out of their way to help me and others on the ward even though it was extremely busy. I would like whoever manages these members of staff to please thank them on my behalf, for looking after me. You should be proud of all your staff. Thank you. Just wish outpatient were as good as you. And please, please do something about the poor food quality and choice that is supplied and served to patients on the wards.
"Excellent medical care at Worcester Royale..."
