What a wonderful service I received today. I arrived in A&E just after 11.00am with a sore big toe. I was seen almost immediately by a nurse who examined my toe, arranged for an immediate Xray. The Xray people were just wonderful and hepful, I returned to teh nurse who told me that the Xray showed I have arthritis, she advised the medication I should take together with ice pack and then she informed me that a letter re my visit will go tonight to my GP. Wonderful. I was back in my home at 12 noon! All in all, it took less than an hour from leaving my home until my return. Now that's what I call a tremendous service from really wonderful people. Thank you St Helier and of course the nurse for the care and attention she showed me.
