Since you want to know about endoscopy experiences I’ll share mine with you from February 2009.
I attended Nottingham City Hospital due to ulcerative colitis. I thought the kleen prep was yuk! But it does work.
I found the car parking an absolute joke - why is the multi-storey car park shut?
The information I was given was fine as I was informed of what was going on. The procedure was not exactly pleasant but it went ok. I wasn’t given sedation so chatted to the staff during the procedure who were very helpful; even if they were a bit spooked at having a patient who talked back!
I thought the clinic was terrible. Why is the clinic always running an hour late, even at 10am? It doesn’t encourage people to turn up on time and I feel like I’m wasting my time showing up at all.
