"Very impressed by kindness and sympathy receive..."

About: Andover War Memorial Hospital

On December 2nd was treated at Andover War Memorial Hospital after I had a fall resulting in a fracture of one of the bones in my ankle. Xray Dept. was particularly busy but staff kept their cool and patients were delt with quickly and kindly. After my x-ray I was returned to Minor Injuries and it seemed I was the last patient. The ladies there explained my x-ray results to me, and what I should expect in the days to come, in a sympathetic manner. A plaster cast was applied a to my leg and foot. At no time did I feel like I was being rushed out the door. They had time for me. Thank you x-ray and Minor Injuries Depts. for your considerate handling of this old lady.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on NHS Choices. It is always lovely to get positive feedback from patients on the quality of care and treatment they have experienced. I will ensure that your kind words are received by the staff in the Minor Injuries Unit , who I’m sure, will be greatly encouraged by them.
