"Cruel joke"

I waited 9 mths for my appointment, only to be told in my appointment that after 25 years of paying into the system and taking nothing out, the NHS won't help me, and i have to go private, i told them i can't afford to go private, and the response was "Not our problem", the woman who went in before me needed a translator, which would of cost more then the treatment i needed, what a cruel joke the NHS has become, I'm fuming and disgusted, the first time in my life i need the NHS at the age of 41 and paying into the system since i was 16 and this is how I'm treated..
