"attended hospital for a colonoscopy"

I recently sent test samples back and blood was found in my faeces. I was very quickly asked to attend Diana Princess of Wales Hospital for a colonoscopy. My first appointment was with a specialist colonoscopy nurse to discuss the procedure and answer any of my concerns and give consent for the procedure. I was given an appointment for the following week. My care on the day of the colonoscopy was excellent from the admission right through to the aftercare. I was able to watch throughout and was given the results immediately afterewards. I cannot praise highly enough the care I was given from beginning to end of my experience and would like to everyone involved. The timeframe from initial test results to final outcome was very quick which was a relief as I was very anxious. Brilliant!
