"My labour"

Due to having bad experiences with north midd in the past it did have my reservations about having my first child here. Can I just say I've never been more sad about leaving these fantastic women after my pregnancy was over. From start to finish I had nothing but 20/10 care for myself and my son. I have so much respect for these amazing midwives that have so many births to deal with and are so understaffed they do not get the credit they deserve! Individually every midwife I dealt with was kind and caring even if I did drive them all mad. As a first time mother they all put me at ease and honestly there are no words to describe how magnificent these women are. It was such an amazing honour to be invited to the birthing units first birthday today and to see the midwives that helped me bring my little boy into the world this September. I can't put it into words! I have a happy and healthy 10 week old... Thank you to all of you uncredited midwifes that deserve so much more.
