"Appendix removal"

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital

I was sent to RSH last Thursday 13th November by my doctor with suspected appendicitis ,I arrived at the SAU at 17:30 and after a short wait had all the necessary tests and was seen by the surgeon. I was supposed to have had the operation that night but unfortunately it was cancelled to due an emergency . I was then moved from SAU up to ward 34 where I spent the night. The operation took place on Friday 14th and all went well . I would like to say that all the staff that I came into contact with were absolutely brilliant . They were all so nice and cheerful. People are so quick to complain these days I work in retail and see it all the time, so I feel when something is good we should say so. So please pass on my thanks and compliments to every one involved for a good job well done :-)

Anonymous Thank you for your kind comments regarding the staff who cared for you during your recent admission to SAU in the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, which I will forward to the ward manager to share with her staff. May I wish you a speedy recovery following your operation. Di Davis Patient Advice and Liaison Service Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust
