I had my daughter 11 months ago and since I’ve had bad back pain. I was told it was caused by bearing down during labour, but it just seems to be getting worse! I would like to see my GP at the Marfleet Group Practise about this, but am not able to get an appointment. I ring at 8am for a morning appointment and am told they’re full, then I ring again at 1pm, to be told the afternoon appointments are taken! I ask, how do I get an appointment? They say, make an emergency appointment if it’s urgent. When I say, it’s not, they won’t let me book an appointment. What am I to do? In the past, I’ve made appointments and never been able to see my doctor, just a junior or locum. It’s wrong that you don’t get to see your own GP. I’m going to call NHS Hull PALS about this now, but thought I would tell Patient Opinion too.
