"Colonoscopy dept"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

A big thank you to all at colonoscopy dept a special thanks to the member of staff who I met at Sunderland General after being referred when I failed my routine cancer screening test. It is a worry because you think the worst , but the staff put me at ease and answerd all questions I had . They informed me I would need a colonoscopy which was arranged at QE Gateshead jn 2 weeks it was a long 2 weeks to be honest , but the dept where great and very professional it was a procedure I was not liking forward to but if you are little anxious don't be it was not painful just a bit uncomfortable the doctor was great as was all the team I was informed any thing found would be discussed in full . Thankfully nothing sinister was found but a polyop was removed which turned to be nothing to worry about.so thank you all .

Thanks for taking the time to write about your positive experience at the QE and we're glad to hear it was nothing to worry about.
