"Comfort and compassion during end of life care"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as a relative),

My mother was taken by ambulance to East Surrey Hospital initially due to high blood sugar levels. After various tests, x-rays and a CT scan it was discovered that she had suffered a massive stroke. She was cared about with comfort and compassion with great professionalism.

Dear eagles fan,

Thank you for taking the time to post such a nice comment about your Mother's care at East Surrey Hospital. I'm particularly pleased to read that you felt that she was cared for in the way that you describe and your comments will be shared with the nursing teams throughout the hospital.

Kind regards

Ian

Update posted by Eagles fan (a relative)

Please make sure all staff in Bay 7 (and Ward sisters) of Nutfield Ward are aware that the family are very grateful for all that they did. Also, Nurse Toogood in AMU was brilliant!!! And Lauren and the other wonderful nurse in A&E Resus were total Stars!!!
