"7 days in Medway Maritime Hospital"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

After surgery which had involved full explanation of events taken to Trafalgar Ward the care and nursing there was 1st class eventually ended up in Phoenix ward and there it was quite awful - seemed understaffed, anyone who couldn't look after themselves seemed to be neglected and if wasn't for the tea ladies helping I don't know what may have happened the phone constantly rang on the reception desk but was left unanswered as staff were attending to patients elsewhere, I saw patients who couldn't help themselves calling for help and there being no one there to help. There was a number of agency staff on nights and all of the staff tried there best, there just wasn't enough of them

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and varying experience on the wards. If you would like to discuss this matter further me so we can pinpoint areas for improvement, please do get in touch. It's important we hear all feedback so thank you for your comments.
