I am a current inpatient of the royal livepool hospital and have 10 more days left before being discharged. I am lactose intolerant and was provided food which contained milk which caused me to vomit. I was vomitting quite severely and my false teeth came out at the same time in the bowl. Whilst I was distracted, a nurse took the bowl containing my false teeth to throw the content away. I shouted the nurse to say my teeth were in the bowl and they carried on throwing the bowl away. I now have no false teeth and cannot eat. This has left me distraught after feeling really positive about my recovery. I cannot afford new teeth & would still have to wait 3 months for new teeth to be made.
I was looking forward to a family christmas meal which I now won't be able to enjoy as I cannot eat.
My room at the hospital is also very cold & I am left feeling quite isolated.
