I take indigestion tablets daily, and in the evening I accidentally took a second dosage thinking it was another tablet. I’m supposed to take 15mg a day, but this meant I’d taken 30mg. I called the NHS 111 service as I was concerned I had overdosed.
This is a good service, the advice I got was excellent. They were prompt, and the call handler was thorough and very helpful. I was very satisfied with the advice I was given.
The 111 service confirmed I was okay after investigating and checking out my symptoms which was reassuring.
