"A+E experience"

I would like to thank the staff of the Torbay Accident and Emergency ward at the hospital, for their prompt and efficient way that they dealt with me on Saturday 22/11/14. I had gone to the hospital just before 6.00 p.m.; not the easiest of times to turn up at A and E., with a head injury requiring stitches, gained from white water kayaking. I was booked in and seen within a few minutes, the nurse who initially saw me was just about to go off duty, but he talked me through what would happen and did the necessary checks that go with a head injury. He then handed me over to another member of staff relating what was what was required. The nurse in question then completed the procedure and saw me on way. Both members of staff impressed me by their professionalism and the human qualities that they displayed. The follow up care and advise was also impeccable. I was in and out of the hospital in less than one hour. So well done to all the staff and a big thank you from me for their efforts. Yours sincerely Ben Miller
