"EEG EMG Appointment experience"

With all the stick the NHS receives of late I just want to say I think this hospital is fantastic! more people will complain than appraise, which happens everywhere but I digress.... This is the third department I have been to in the last 6 months, and couldn't be happier or more appreciative with how the staff make you feel and treat you. On this occasion I had an EEG and EMG performed and I was pretty nervous from the reviews and feedback I had read regarding how painful it was.... But It wasn't.... All that worrying and lack of sleep for nothing. A blood test hurts more than these tests do, it just feels strange and slightly uncomfortable when your muscles contract without you making them yourself. The consultant was amazing and so down to Earth : ) he actually had a sense of humour which you don't find in a hospital often, but he made me feel so comfortable and at ease and we actually had a laugh the whole way through, even if it was at my own expense... At one point when it was time for the needle and I acted like a little girl... But well done guys keep up the good work, thank you!
