"appreciated for all happy moments"

About: Princess Anne Hospital

I had a very difficult delivery in theatre, it has ended up with unplanned forceps.. A couple days after, I was back to the hospital and spent a week under a very strong medication as I had streptoccocus group C in my episiotomy . I was back to the hospital in agony.. Two months after, today I'm already enjoying my motherhood completely, as I wasnt able before. Unfortunately, still visiting my physio as I have problems with my tail bone.. Honestly I want to thank for all day unit and midwives, nurses and senior doctor as all they looked after me in intensive care every hour during days and nights. They did a brilliant job to get me up from a bed and my illness. Im giving my best regards to the midwives taking care of me and my baby. They are not only amazing people at work but as a human beings in this world, so supportive and lovely. The week i've spent in a hospital was so painful but very beneficial and positive for all my family. Im happiest Mom in the world and baby's last scars healing well. Xx Sonata Kostkeviciute

Congratulations on the birth of your baby and thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback of maternity services at the Princess Anne Hospital. We are sorry to read of the complications you suffered post delivery of your baby and pleased to hear that you are now recovering well. We will pass on your kind words on to the Matron and Manager for maternity services to share with their staff.
