My husband has mobility problems and is suffering more so at the moment due to fluid retention. He has regular occupational therapy at a local unit close to us, the therapists are so supportive and helpful they have always said I should call them if I had any problems in mobilizing my husband.
This morning I could not move him from the dining table where he had his breakfast so I called the therapists. Two of them came round, one who had previously been a paramedic thought it would be better if I called 111 after she had assessed my husband. The therapists called 111, the paramedics arrived very quickly and were extremely helpful, kind and considerate.
I’ve needed to call the paramedics on previous occasions, each time they have been extremely helpful, however this time they just seemed to be better somehow.
"The paramedics arrived very quickly and were extremely helpful"
