The receptionist was watching a dvd in the ultrasound department. Is this normal and acceptable?

This certainly does not sound normal or acceptable. Occasionally we use educational DVDs but would not expect this to be watched when on reception duties. I will contact the manger of the ultrasound department and ask them to follow this up.
