"I am grateful to you for all the work you have done to help me and my illness "

I have put three opinions on this site about my stays in some of the 5 boroughs trust mental health wards. One of my opinions was to complain about certain matters and my most recent was to give a compliment about my most recent stay on Taylor ward but I have just thought that I have not made a account of my care co-ordinator.

When I was given a new care co-ordinator, I was not happy I had known him for some years but still I did not want him to be my care co-ordinator. His name is Morris. So I told him that although I had known him for a good few years and had always liked him, I didn't want him to be my care co-ordinator because I didn't trust him. And his reply was that even though I didn't trust him, he was still going to turn up at my flat each week and thus each week he came to my flat,

Slowly we began to have conversations and Morris unlike other care co-ordinator put no pressure on me or dictate what I should or should not do. He also didn't try to give me the attitude that he was right all the time. His approach to my illness and my feelings started to make me think that Morris was different to some other care co-ordinators I have had in a positive way, so slowly I started to trust him,

Now he has been my care co-ordinator for about two years and I did admit to Morris that when he became my care co-ordinator I was wrong to dismiss him.

I can honestly say that Morris has becoming my care co-ordinator has been the best and most positive thing that has happened for me and my illness ever. I would be devastated if Morris stopped being my care co-ordinator. So if you read this, Morris, I am grateful to you for all the work you have done to help me and my illness. Thank you, Morris!
