All the staff who dealt with me, including doctors and nurses were fantastic and they treated me with care and compassion, which unfortunately isn't that common in the NHS these days. I went to A&E after several days of feeling ill and being ignored by my GP. There weren't many people waiting so I didn't have to wait long. I was seen by two different doctors as they were surprised by my symptoms. They took me seriously, asked me lots of questions, took all the time in the world to examine me and to listen to everything I had to say and answer all my questions. I even heard them discussing my case amongst themselves, they really took an interest in me. I was given the option to stay overnight or not and together we decided I would stay. The nurses really looked after me, checked on me regularly and made sure I was comfortable. They were all lovely, caring and respectful. I only have good words for this hospital.
"Fantastic and caring staff"
