"Twins"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I had a baby in 2011 and to be quite frank I felt very let down. My first baby and I had no support or guidance. I was very lucky to have my mam by my side! Three month ago I gave birth to my twins in Sunderland and I couldn't fault them! Two Midwifes stayed alday (9-8) with me did checks every half hour. Made me giggle n smile even when I was being a pain ha the support I got was amazing and with there being two they even helped me feed, change one while I did the other! Completely different to when I had my first. Even the doctors explained (dumbified) things for me and they was always by my side! When I was ready the room filled with people for 'just incase' situations which I thought was fab! I felt me and my babies were completely safe in their hands. I honestly can't praise them enough! I walked into the hosp scared and full off what ifs but after an hour they picked me up and supported me and by 5 in the afternoon I naturally gave birth (just want i wanted)

Congratulations on the birth of your twins and thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your experience of care whilst you were having your babies. We know how busy you must be so we are extremely grateful that you have found the time to do this. We will share your comments with the team and those members of staff who were involved in your care will be delighted to know they were able to support you and reduce your anxieties to make sure the birth was a special one and as you had hoped it would be. Thank you once again.
