"All in all treated very well"

About: New Cross Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My son who has a learning disability went to alton towers, and started complaing of pain on the nite time. Next day he was in agony with his arm, decided to go to A n E, was given pain relief by the treatment room then seen by the doctor.

I was allowed in with him at all times which was good being as he is 22 yrs old. After examination he was told he had torn the bicep muscle. It will take 4 to 6 wks to heal. No football, pain relief and a referral to physio was advised. .
