I visited Walsall Manor Hospital Antenatal clinic yesterday for my 20 week scan. I was told by the person carrying out the scan that my placenta was high and out of the way 'which is good'. I went to the foetal assessment unit at Walsall Manor Hospital today for a check up and was told by a doctor that my notes state my placenta is low and i have to avoid intercourse. Which is it? Why was i not told this at my scan? This is my first baby so i am unfamiliar with the whole process.
