In May 2008 I had an operation on my fractured arm at Northern General Hospital. I had a double compact fracture and dislocation. But when we rang they wouldn’t send an ambulance immediately even though we informed them I suffer severe breathing problems due to emphysema. They rang back but we were already getting in a taxi by this time. Apart from that everything else was very good.
