I stayed overnight in the Swan Ward for observation after an outpatient operation. After not staying in hospital since of the birth of my children I was very pleasantly surprised with the level of care. The ward was well staffed and any call on the buzzer was quickly answered. They were very aware of dignity and were happy to take me along to the bathroom with a wheel chair/drips etc even though this took so much longer than a bedpan. I was happy to see that my wishes were respected. Staff were efficient and friendly and were always happy to answer questions. Overall a very positive experience.
