(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

The counsellor, Fay, was very emphatic and although initially practicing the techniques caused me some discomfort I found that they worked in exactly the way she said they would. She definitely inspired confidence and trust. I can enjoy life again.

I'm pleased to hear that you benefited from your sessions with Fay. In particular I think your story highlights the importance of sticking with treatment as it can cause discomfort at times but as you discovered the techniques do work - hopefully this will inspire and encourage others!
