Currently still waiting, have had referral and left numerous voice mails, but when calling nobody appears aware of the case or takes ownership. Regards Matt

Dear Matt We're sorry to hear that your experiencing problems gathering information about your referral. We have a Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) who would be happy to look into this for you. They can be contacted on 01323 435886 or be email at: esh-tr.palse@nhs.net. Their opening hours are 9am to 4pm (Monday to Friday). In the meantime, we will ensure that the issue you raised is shared with the General Manager for Ophthalmology appointments. You may also wish to consider contacting East Sussex Healthwatch who are your independent consumer champion for health and social care. They would like to hear from people about their experiences of local services, whether they are good or bad. The role of Healthwatch is to make sure your views and feedback are heard and affect the decisions made by the people who deliver your services.
