Having been diagnosed with Cancer of the Kidney ,I was referred to Darent Valley Urology Dept earlier this year.In January I had Chryotherapy performed by the fantastic surgical team at Darent,Unfortunately this wasn't successful as hoped and in September I was admitted to Medway Hospital where the Consultant performed at complete removal of my left kidney including the tumour.I have just been given my results and am now completely clear of Cancer.It gives me great pleasure to sing the praises of every member of the Urology team at Darent and the High Dependency Unit at Medway.The professionalism and dedication both before,during and after my operations was second to none.In this day and age where people to readily complain of the slightest thing regarding the NHS I can honestly say that I could not have had better care anywhere else.I would also like to thank the teams for the support ,concern and compassion that they showed to my wife throughout my experience.Words cannot completely express my gratitude and thanks to the whole team.
