About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

The GP (Stirchley Health Centre) was excellent and explained everything to me. He also involved me in the discussion to refer me to a consultant. TRAQs contacted me reasonably quickly but there was no discussion of alternative hospital clinics. However, Telford may have been the quickest. Overall I was very satisfied with the process.

Thank you for responding to our request for feedback.

I am pleased to read that the booking process worked well for you and that your GP explained how the process worked. The TRAQS team will always offer the first available appointment. Sometimes there are local appointments available and it appears that on this occasion that was the case as we were able to book a suitable appointment at Telford Hospital. The Choice discussion usually takes place when there are no local appointments to offer or the patient wishes to attend a specific hospital.
