My daughter had an appointment at the podiatry clinic, I was taken aback by the way she was treated. The opening remark from the podiatrist suggested that she did not know why my daughter had been referred and why doctors were referring people when there was nothing they could do.
It made us feel as if we had wasted the podiatrist’s time as well as our own.
If there is a problem with the referral criteria this needs to be taken up with the doctors not the patients. It was not good customer service, not a good opening remark to make.
